Fall Leadership Conference!

Where It All Began

On September 28th, 2014, the Area 4 Eccentric Elephants met each other as a group for the first time. Area 4 consisted of only four schools, but you could hear their stampede from all the way across the gym.

The Eccentric Elephants, alongside their other Area counterparts, went to Independence High School in San Jose, CA to rally at the Fall Leadership Conference.

It's hard to believe that the Eccentric Elephants all started here. The year is almost over and they're still stampeding along with their leader, Keani Turangan, since the beginning of the year.

"There she is. It's the great commander Keani! ...wait, is she holding up three fingers or four?!"

What happened at FLC? Well, it's been 8 months since that event, so it's pretty hard to remember anything that happened. But the Eccentric Elephants did remember doing some workshops!

"The District Council and advisors led countless workshops that honed the Interactors' leadership skills and helped them break barriers with other Interactors."

"AMERICA!"

"In this workshop, Interactors wrote inspiring words on nametags to encourage the children in hospitals and make their day brighter."

(Note: While there are only three workshops depicted above, there were countless other workshops that Interactors could participate in at FLC.)

Afterwards, all of the Interactors met up again for lunch!

Afterwards, the Interactors met up at the gym to hear some speeches and learn about their district projects of the year.

The Eccentric Elephants did their chant to close out FLC! Isn't it a great day to be Keani? With one month left, she still has a lot in store for her Eccentric Elephants!
