"This year Katie Leong, from Fremont Christian School, truly takes on the meaning of hard work as a junior in interact! Even though not an officer, she takes the initiative to attend events and willingly volunteers to help out as much as possible. Just recently she was apart of registration committee for our benefit show, and continued to help out with merchandise throughout the night. Community wise, she has even branched out to local organizations such as Abode, for schools to provide service for. Her actions this year as a general member has set her apart, because of the responsibility she's taken upon herself to encourage other members to actively participate in our events. Our officers at FCS see Katie's passion for service, as a brighter future for the members of interact to be inspired by."
